Some companies hesitate to put anything larger than 23-inch wheels on their cars. Land Rover mentioned in a recent interview with CarThrottle that they have no plans to exceed that size. JLR’s Vehicle Engineering Director, Matt Becker, explained, "23 seems to be the maximum limit. You wouldn't want to go too much bigger than that... I don't think 24-inch wheels are very common."

It's quite astonishing that a company known for its luxurious offerings has set a limit of 23 inches, especially considering the upcoming release of a new electric Range Rover. However, the new Range Rover Sport SV does offer a remarkable option: 23-inch carbon fiber wheels, which are the largest of their kind. Carbon fiber wheels have been a topic of debate due to their delicate nature, particularly when they measure 23 inches. However, they do manage to reduce the overall weight of the car by approximately 80 pounds in total (20 pounds per wheel) when compared to the standard forged wheels. These weight savings are quite beneficial for a vehicle that weighs close to 6,000 pounds.
If you choose to buy a $181,775 / Qar 661751 Range Rover Sport SV, you'll need to shell out more money for the carbon fiber wheels. Range Rover charges an additional £6,900 / Qar 27097 (around $8,700 / Qar 31672) for the lighter wheel upgrade.
