Kia unveiled the second-generation K900 at the 2018 New York Auto Show, but unfortunately, the full-size sedan had a brief existence in the United States. Just three years later, it was discontinued in the American market. However, the good news is that Kia's flagship model, known as the K9, is still available for purchase in other markets, particularly in its home country of South Korea.

The luxurious sedan, which underwent a significant transformation in 2021, is now undergoing another round of minor updates. This time, Kia is making slight adjustments to the front grille by switching to horizontal slats instead of the previous V-shaped design. The 2025 K9 will also feature newly designed 19-inch wheels and a stylish Pebble Gray exterior color. Additionally, the interior of the vehicle now offers new theme options like Martian Brown or Misty Gray for a more upscale feel.

The "After Blow" feature helps dry condensation from air conditioning use to prevent bad smells. It kicks in 30 minutes after the engine is turned off, running for 10 minutes to dry out the vents and prevent mold. A battery sensor prevents activation when the battery is low, and it stays off in cold weather or after long periods of AC inactivity.

The 2025 Kia K9 has introduced several new features such as a massage function for the front passenger seat, USB-C ports in the front and rear, and even a fire extinguisher. More standard equipment is now included, and higher trim levels also offer additional goodies that used to be optional.
